Determining the right sill/threshold is one of the most important decisions when designing your folding door or window system. Choosing the wrong sill could be costly. The following are important considerations to help guide your selection.
1. Interior or exterior
2. Sufficient or insufficient overhang (exterior)
3. ADA compliance
4. Appearance
1. Choose your desired color.
2. Select a retainer (E22FCR) in the SILL OPTION drop down menu according to the length you need.
3. Select an appropriate length polypropylene insert (E22FCP) according to size and Add to Cart.
The ADA sill (E3CSLO) may be necessary for certain applications but also can serve as a compromise between a hi-rise sill and a flush-track. It provides minimum protection against water intrusion and includes a thermal break. The ADA sill is 6-9/16" in depth and is compatible with E2 & E3 systems.
1. Choose your desired color.
2. Select a length (E3CSLOx) in the SILL OPTION drop down menu according to the length you need.
3. NOTE: ADA sill comes pre-installed with an E22FCP poly-insert.
The hi-dam is installed with a fir bottom and top interior and offers the best performance. The nose is hollow and allows for weeps holes to be drilled for even greater performance against water buildup. This sill will accommodate panels that are 1-3/4" (E3CS6xF) or 2-1/4" (E3S2146xF) thick. The hi-dam sill is compatible with E2 & E3 systems.
1. Choose your desired color.
2. Select a 1-3/4" or 2-1/4" (E3CS6xF or E3S2146xF) system in the SILL OPTION drop down menu according to the length you need.
3. NOTE: Hi-Dam sills come pre-installed with an E22FCP poly-insert.
